“Nishant quickly became an invaluable member of our Indian team during two years of production, particularly in Madhya Pradesh. Initially joining the project as a location fixer and assistant, he swiftly progressed to camera operator, spending months in the field. While supporting our lead cameramen, Nishant played a crucial role in resolving any issues that arose within the parks. Behind the lens, his patience and technical expertise were instrumental in capturing extraordinary footage. His deep knowledge of the local wildlife, combined with his skill in operating and managing multiple remote cameras as well as the main camera, he became a well-honed asset, delivering a wealth of fascinating material for production. Later in production, Himani joined the team as a DIT, taking charge of the overwhelming task of organising and managing an enormous volume of remote camera footage—a Herculean effort. Beyond media management, Himani excelled at deploying remote cameras strategically, ensuring they captured key moments at the right place and time.
